Celebrating Modern Jewish Living Through Food, Tradition, and Family
Yes, you can make these at home! Our easy baked fries come out crispy, delicious, and good for you every time!
The Backstory: Who says fries are off limits? I don’t, especially when they’re baked and the delicious flavor of the potato comes shining through. My recipe for easy baked fries is so easy to make that you’ll never miss the fat and and extra calories of deep-frying your potatoes again. You do need to have a little patience while the liquid is released from the potatoes, but think of this way: you won’t have to clean up a greasy mess from a deep-fryer ever again. I’d say that’s a good deal any day of the week! More of the Backstory after the recipe…
…The Backstory continues: You can find this recipe and many more in my latest cookbook, Healthy Meals for Your Busy Life. In my new book, I’ve created a collection of delicious and satisfying meals from Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Spirals to Poached Pears in Fruit Juice— that you can prepare in 30 minutes or less. I know you’ll love them and that they’ll leave you feeling full, satisfied, and happy that you’ve made healthful choices that don’t sacrifice on taste!
