Poached Pears in Fruit Juice – Healthy Option

An elegant ending to any holiday or Shabbat meal and it takes only minutes to make.

The Backstory: This delicious dessert is a perfect choice for the High Holidays, a special occasion, or anytime you want something sweet, but don’t want to indulge in anything too rich or too high in calories or refined sugars. Remember, the idea is to be able to enjoy desserts in moderation and these mouth-watering juicy pears with raspberries or blueberries (with my scrumptious sauce) are a perfect way to do so.
